                    <p>His Majesty King Abdullah II laid the foun­dation stone of a specialized Academy for training on the protection of nature and sustainable development near Ajloun Forest Reserve in 2010. HRH Crown Prince Hussein inaugurated the Academy in 2015. The academy is “the first center in the Arab world” specialized in offering training on nature conservation. The Academy funded by USAID in 2010. The Academy is constructed nearby the Ajloun Forest Reserve. It will be physically linked to the Reserve and its tourism facilities to create a single integrated eco-tourism complex. This will enable the Academy to use these tourism facilities as real-life training situations.</p>

                    <p>وضع جلالة الملك في عام 2010 حجر الأساس لمبنى الأكاديمية الملكية لحماية الطبيعة بالقرب من محمية غابات عجلون. وقام ولي العهد الأمير الحسين بافتتاحها رسمياً في عام 2015. وجاءت فكرة الأكاديمية التي تم تمويلها من قبل الوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية USAID كتطور طبيعي لبرنامج التدريب الإقليمي للجمعية، والهادف إلى إعداد المركز، الأول في المنطقة العربية، المتخصص في التدريب وبناء القدرات على تقنيات حماية الطبيعة وإدارة برامج التنمية الاقتصادية الاجتماعية والخدمات المتصلة بها بما فيها السياحة البيئية.</p>
