Thursday, 9th of November, 2021 the Canadian ambassador Donica Pottie visited Jordan university of science and technology and met the university president Dr.Khalid Al-Salem. The visit aimed to reinforce the collaboration between the university and the embassy, and follow up the progress of Canada-funded project (JUST-ABLE). Project team members; Dr. Mohammad Nazzal, Rania Rawwash, Mahmoud Hammad, Haneen Abu Alhayjaa and Ebaa Ababneh, discussed the importance of (JUST-ABLE) application in increasing the participation and inclusion of persons with disabilities in the society. As part of the project, volunteers from several disciplines, including Architects, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists as well as disabled persons expressed their perspective in evaluating accessibility of public places across Jordan.
