Amman Youth Hostel



Overview

A translation of the visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Abdullah II in creating a generation of young people armed with knowledge, science and belonging, to be an active partner in building our political, economic and cultural life away from extremism and extremism, according to what was stated in the letter of assignment to the government of Dr. Hani Al-Mulki, and in implementation of the royal directives in the assignment book With regard to youth, we quote from it: “As for the youth sector, it needs greater government attention, due to the lack of adequate care that youth work has suffered during the past years, which helps young people to find decent life opportunities.

يحتوي مبنى بيت شباب عمّان على منامات وقاعات مسرح ومطعم وقاعات يتم فيها عقد أنشطة ومعسكرات شبابية، حيث يستقبل بشكل دائم جمعيات خاصة بذوي الإعاقة مثل جمعية الصداقة للمكفوفين وغيرها مع التنويه إلى ما يلي: الوصولية لبيت شباب عمّان مهيأة بشكل جزئي لذوي الإعاقة، توجد مساحات اصطفاف على الرغم من عدم تخصيص موقف لذوي الإعاقة، الأرصفة الخارجية فاقعة اللون لكنها لا تحوي بروزات لذوي الإعاقة البصرية، يوجد منحدران حادّان يصعب استخدامهم بشكل مستقلّ من قبل مستخدمي الكرسي المتحرك لذلك يحتاجوا مساعدة شخص، باب المدخل واسع ومناسب للكرسي المتحرك لكنه يحتاج قوة للفتح، لا يتوفر مصعد للطابق الثاني الذي يحتوي على الغرف والمنامات، الإضاءة الداخلية خافتة نسبياً وغير مساوية للخارجية، مع التنويه أن الأشخاص من ذوي الإعاقة البصرية يحتاجون لمساعدة شخص، والوحدات الصحّية المتاحة لاستخدام العامّة ضمن غرف المنامات وضمن المبنى لا تحتوي على حمام مخصص لذوي الإعاقة ولا يمكن لذوي الإعاقة استخدام الحمامات الموجودة تبعاً لقياساتها الصغيرة
